Hillsyde is the combined Sixth Form of Forest Hill, Sedgehill and Sydenham Schools and part of the Hillsyde 14-19 Federation. We bring our strengths and resources together to give our students real choice and opportunity for personal success, in a friendly and supportive environment with excellent facilities and resources. Two of our schools have just been opened in completely new buildings with the latest modern equipment and classrooms. Not surprisingly, the majority of Y11 students at Sydenham continue into the Sixth Form at Hillsyde. With over 30 years experience Hillsyde is proud of its traditions and achievements, yet continues to be dynamic and forward-looking, always seeking for new ways to develop and raise standards even further. If students want to study in an adult working environment, to have more freedom and take responsibility for their own learning, Hillsyde is the right choice for them. Students will be challenged to do their very best, and provided with an education which is interesting, good fun, and meaningful to their futures. Each school contributes to the courses on offer, and has dedicated Sixth Form facilities that you are free to use. Students will be based at one Sixth Form Centre for Tutorial and Form Groups, and they can choose courses at any of the schools.
